# 1. How to create an INTMAX Wallet

Visit -[ ](https://web.wallet.intmax.io/)<https://home.wallet.intmax.io> and click **"Open Wallet"**

## Sign Up | Sign In using Email

2. Continue with Email:
   * Click the "***Continue with Email***" button, to sign in or sign up on the INTMAX Wallet using an email service other than Google Mail. e.g (Yahoo Mail, Outlook, or iCloud Mail)

3. Enter Email:
   * In this field, Please input your email address.
   * Click on the "***Get Code***" Button. and a code will be sent to the email address you have provided to verify your identity.

4. Enter Login Code:
   * Please enter the login code sent to the email address you have provided to verify your identity.
   * After you have entered the login code, please click on the "***Submit Code***" Button.

## Sign Up | Sign In using Gmail

1. Sign in with Google
   * Click on the "***Continue with Google***" Button.
   * Please do not use private mode when creating for the first time.
   * By proceeding, you agree to our[ Terms and conditions](https://intmax.io/legal/terms-of-service), and[ Privacy policy](https://intmax.io/legal/privacy-policy).

2. Choose a Google account you want to sign in with

* Select the Google account you would like to sign into the INTMAX Wallet with from the list of available Google accounts in your pop up screen.

## Personal Codes

***

1. Set up your Personal codes
   * Please enter your nickname, the last four digits of your phone number, and your preferred 6 digits PIN.
   * Please note: This information will be required for logging in, restoring your wallet, and adding another device. Make sure you don't forget this information.
   * To continue, tick the checkmark and click on "***I Remembered"***

6. &#x20;Register Passkey.
   * By setting up a passkey, you can login to INTMAX Wallet safely and speedily using biometric authentication (Fingerprint or face ID)
   * If an error occurs, please return to the previous screen and try again.
   * To proceed, click **"*****Register Passkey*****"**&#x20;

7. Choose how you want to create a passkey and click **“*****Register Passkey*****”**

Now you are about to set a master password, please read and tick the checkboxes for the Master Password set up Essentials and then click **“*****I agree*****”**

* Remember Your Password: Do not forget the master password you are about to set.
* Unique & Secure: Use a password that's unique to this account and store it in a secure place.
* Strength Matters: Choose a complex and unpredictable password for maximum security.

8. Set up Master password
   * Please set a master password.&#x20;
   * The password will be used for creating and restoring your wallet.
   * After you have typed a password, Click the "***Continue***" button

* Please enter the master password you set earlier for verification
* To proceed, click **"*****Confirm*****"** and sign in with your biometric.

9. TO REGISTER WITHOUT PASSKEY: (FOR DEVICES WITHOUT BIOMETRIC ONLY!)

&#x20; STEP 1: Click **“Register Passkey”.**

* **“No Passkey”** Modal would appear.&#x20;
* Check the white box and click **“Register without passkey”**
* Please note that, in situations requiring identity verification, you will be asked to enter the 6-digit PIN set with your personal passcodes instead of using passkey authentication.

&#x20; STEP 2: Enter the Pin you set in Personal Passcodes

* Click **“*****Confirm*****”** to verify the PIN, and after the modal closes, press the button for the original process again.

HURRAY!!!

YOUR WALLET IS ALL SET!

* Check your email for a PDF backup (1st backup).
* Click the "***Download***" Button to download and store your backup file to your local storage.

* Afterwards, Tick the checkbox to confirm you have safely stored the backups.
* Click the "***Yes, I've saved them***" button to proceed.
